Danielle Bates
Danielle is the Flash Musicals workshop co-ordinator and drama teacher. Danielle has worked with us for seven years teaching drama and directing our workshop performances. She has recently taken on the role of workshop co-ordinator and is working to ensure that all workshops sustain a level of quality and adhere to our policies. Danielle has recently graduated from the Central School of speech and drama and is now a practising secondary drama education practitioner. She specialises in using drama with children that have disabilities from all ends of the spectrum.
Laura McDonald
Laura is the vocal coach for Flash Musicals. She encourages the children to explore all styles of music and singing. The children have explored swing, pop, musical theatre, rock and roll, african music and many more. As well as learning about music, Laura also works with the children to develop confidence in performing, working one on one or in larger groups to develop a performance ready for the stage. Laura has a Bachelor of Arts in Modern Drama Studies and is qualified primary teacher. Laura also tours the UK and Europe as a professional vocalist.
All our staff have worked in the creative industries and within educational settings. Their various specialist knowledge means that Flash can offer a well rounded program that meets the needs of all children attending.
All of our staff have enhanced CRB's
