The Jack Petchey Foundation, established in 1999, gives grants to programmes and projects that benefit young people aged 11 - 25. The Foundation is eager to help young people take advantage of opportunities and play their full part in society.
Grants are given through different programmes including: Achievement Award Scheme, Leader Award Scheme, Projects Grants and Sponsorship.
Grants of over £23 million have been given since the Foundation was established in 1999 (grant budget for 2006 - over £7m). The largest grant to date has been for The Petchey Academy. The Foundation is expanding rapidly.
Flash Musicals have acheived the gold award from the Jack Petchey foundation which means that our members benfit from money for a full range of good causes. Bianca from our workshop was also invited to sing and meet Jack Petchey at the recent award ceremony.

Flash Members vote for the Jack Petchey winners by an anonymous drop in box. The votes are counted and adjudicated by our panel to ensure that fair votes are being cast. In order for a member to win their nominations have to be about how they benefit others in the company and not just their skills.
